THE MOST OVERLOOKED CRITICAL COMPONENT OF SELF DEFENSE

If you don’t have gas in the tank for the fight, all the other skills and abilities don’t matter much. Even as a shooter if you’re physically fit, your body will mitigate the effects of stress much better and you will shoot better under stress and increase your chances of survival! As a Green Beret, in combat it was obvious to me to see the correlation of the level of a soldier’s fitness and how he/she performed in combat, dealt with and performed under the stress of the moment. The importance and benefits of physical fitness in all aspects of life but especially how it pertains to self defense cannot be overstated. Take time to stay fit and invest your health and mental well being.
