Competition Handgun II

Comp Skills 1 and 2

Competition Handgun Level II takes the shooting to the next movement by adding dynamic, match style movement into every Course of fire. Level II is focusing on keeping our handgun marksmanship skills and handgun manipulations with the added complexity of efficient movement throughout a competition stage.

In this course we build upon the fundamentals taught in Competition Handgun Level I and go straight into practical application. All throughout the day we will run students through multiple portions of USPSA stages and provide personalized coaching and critical feedback. We will identify individual fundamentals that need improvement and help students make immediate corrections so that those mistakes don’t turn into habits that are hard to break.

  • OWB Holster, preferably a friction retention kydex holster or similar (Serpa Holsters are highly discouraged)
  • 2 x Magazine Pouch Minimum
  • Electronic Hearing Protection – We do have some loaners
  • Eye Protection

  • Weather Appropriate Attire
  • Approximately 350 rounds

PTS does have student guns and equipment for a nominal rental fee as well as ammunition for sale.

Students must have successfully completed the following courses:

  • Defensive Handgun Level I
  • Defensive Handgun Level II
  • Competition Handgun Level I
