A Nasopharyngeal Airway (NPA) is recommended for use as an airway adjunct in the semi-conscious or unconscious patient with an intact gag reflex. The NPA is not easily dislodged during transport and better tolerated than an Oropharyngeal Airway.  Packaged sterile with a conveniently attached surgical lubricant for quick access to facilitate ease of insertion.

The NPA medical lube is the airway adjunct of choice for the tactical environment. This 28F PVC nasal airway includes surgical nasopharyngeal lubricant.

Rusch Soft Plastic Nasal Airways are constructed of a soft, latex free plastic. The interior of the airway has striations for easy suctioning and insertion.
