Q: When do I use Qwik-Dri instead of Friction Guard XP Gun Oil?
A: Qwik-Dri is formulated for moving parts were a mess free, dirt and debris repelling lubricant is required. It is also preferred in extreme cold conditions as it will not freeze or thicken. Friction Guard XP is recommended for use internally (rifle bores) to protect against rust and corrosion or as a lubricant on moving parts. Please see our convenient and easy to use Lubricant/Preventative Selection Guide in the Specifications Tab or in the Knowledge Center.
Q: Can I use Qwik-Dri inside my bore?
A: No, Qwik-Dri is designed for use outside of the bore on moving part to reduce friction and wear. For inside the bore, use Bore Tech Friction Guard XP to protect against rust and corrosion for extended periods.
