TBAC 30BA Brake

The Thunder Beast TBAC 30BA Brake is designed for use with the 30BA and 30BAS suppressors.  It’s precision taper allows for extremely repeatable mounting with no loss of accuracy.  Post 2014, Thunder Beast’s new suppressors utilize the CB system.  All thread pitches feature a 7.62 caliber aperture, except the 1/2×28 features a .223 caliber aperture.

* NOTE: THE 1/2-28 30BA BRAKE HAS A .223 CALIBER APERTURE.

The 30BA brake will accept the 338BA suppressor, so with a .30 caliber brake on your .308 and a .338 brake on your .338 Lapua Magnum, you can use a single 338BA suppressor on both. The 30BA suppressor will not fit on a 338BA brake.

From TBAC: The 30BA was discontinued May 2014 and replaced with the 30CB9. We will continue to support 30BA-series customers. 30BA brakes will remain for sale. 30BA and 30BAS suppressors may still be ordered on a special-order basis for customers already invested in the 30BA system.
